Welcome to BS150.com
Welcome to BS150.com a poker fan’s website. Let me introduce myself, I’m BS150…. or at least that’s my screen name on PokerStars which is where I play most of my online poker. I started this site primarily to house my poker blog but I’ll be trying to put a mixture of poker related stuff on here as I go along so hopefully you’ll find something of use.
My blog is a diary of my poker life so far and aims to be brutally honest in every way. The main thing you need to know is that I’m not a very good player, in fact I’m pretty bad but I still manage to have fun. Recently, however, I’ve been taking the game more seriously and the blog charts the things I’ve been doing to try to improve. Hopefully, as well as recording my progress (or lack of it!), this will also give other players in my position some insight into the tool available to you if you wish to improve.
You can also use the button on this page to follow me on Twitter which I will be updating frequently with my mistakes, disasters and amusing screw ups on the virtual felt (and occasionally live felt).
All comments are welcome…just use the blog or Twitter to vent J.

Interesting Hands From This Week - playing micro stakes 0.05/0.10 NLH
HAND 1 - You Have To Laugh
Playing 7 handed, it folds round to me in middle position with 10d 10h and I raise it to 0.30. Cut-off (CO) and Button call and everyone else folds. Flop is Ac 5c 10s giving me a set. I bet 0.70, cut-off calls and button folds. Turn comes Ad giving me my full house. I check and cut-off checks behind me. River is Ah and I put CO all in for his last 0.25. He calls and shows me As 4h for 4 of a kind! I went from a 97% favourite on the flop to a loser on the river lol! Got to love this game!
HAND 2 - Sometimes they just don't believe you have it!
Playing 8 handed, UTG min raises to 0.20, UTG + 1 raised to 0.30, Cut-off (CO) and SB call as do I in the BB with 3d 3s and so does UTG. Flop comes Jh 3h 2c giving me a set. SB leads out for 0.40, I raise to 1.20 and it folds to CO who re-raises to 2.50. SB folds and I re-raise again to a total of 7.30 and all in. CO calls. Turn is 4c and river is 10c and CO turns over Ac Jd for top pair...not good enough to beat my set though :-). This was especially satisfying as he turned over exactly what I expected him to and I haven't been reading people too well lately.
